Clock Box
Circuit Board Const Info

I am building an electronic clock with a BCD display (teach ggkids to read binary).

Box parts sawed out.

As you can see I have mitered the edges.

Box glued together.

The box bottom with circuit board supports.

Display board attached to front of box bottom.

Back side of circuit board attached to box bottom.

Front of circuit board.   The gap is for LED wiring.

LED holes in box front.

Wiring circuit board to LEDs.

Front of display board with LEDs mounted.

After 1st coat of clear poly.

From another angle.

Clock operating without it's box.   It is 12:17 PM, no LEDs on is 12:00.

Clock in it's normal place in the den.   It is 2:39.

Another angle.   Its 2:39.

With the lights down low, watching TV, you can see the clock to the TV's right (red circle).   Its 7:50, you can see the colons on in this pic.

Back view of clock's innards.   I left the back open thinking it would need air for cooling, but nothing in this clock gets warm.
