Shredder

I was looking at reducing clutter in my office when I started thinking about the shredder we have.
It is a Fellowes PS-79C, and is 16" w, 12" d, and 23" high.
It has nice casters and is easy to move but thats a lot of space in my tiny office.
We only use it a few times each year (mainly in February when we shred docs from 2 years ago).
So thought I could remove the mechanism from the lower part (bin) and make a small base to place it on top of one of our trash bins.
The trash bins have a lift off top which just sits on top of the bin capturing the top edge of the 39 gal trash bag.
The cap just lifts off for easy replacement of the 39gal trash bag inside.
I could build a new base for the shredder which sits on top of the trash bin.
I can also make a mini trash bin, the same top dimensions as the trash bin's top only about 6" tall, for infrequent use.
