Bench Multimeter
From:

I frequently have problems reading the color stripes on some of the new
resistors.
Now I was an electronics tech for many years and could read the 5% 1/4 watt
resistor stripes as if they were newspaper headlines!
But, now I'm older and my eyes aren't as good as 40 or 50 years ago, and the
resistors are much smaller and have more stripes.
I also don't have a good storage situation for resistors, so I frequently
have to dig through a pile of tiny resistors to find what value I need.

I have a Fluke 107 which is a gem dandy but, I don't have a handy place for
it on my bench.
I decided I needed a Bench Multimeter so I scanned Amazon for a good one
that wouldn't break the bank, and came up with the Owon XDM1041.
My Electonics work bench with the multimeter on the top shelf left.
