Closet Wine Rack (Aging and Storage)

Our meadmaking requires that we age mead, which means we keep a lot of mead around, as it ages, first in carboys, then in bottles.   After fermentation, the mead is racked into a clear carboy, while it finishes fermenting (second) and clears up.   After this first aging and clearing it is racked again into another clear carboy to just age.   We usually have 2-3 batches in the utility room (carboys) and 2-3 more in bottle storage but, we realized that wasn't enough batches aging to keep a constant supply of aged mead (the more it ages the smoother it gets, just like wine).   We looked around and remembered that I had left a narrow storage area at the back of Betty's Closet, behind the hanging clothes storage.

The closet has a little over 40-5/8" high and 26-5/8" wide area at the back.   The clothes hanging spaces are 29" deep, leaving an empty area between the hanging clotes and the back of the closet.   I recalculated one of our standard bottle racks to fit, with 6 rows of 6 bottles or 36 liters of mead.
