I like the Davis VanPro2 but 
Cons:
	it's tricky to talk to (from computer).
	expensive.
	inside unit temp is wrong when the lights are on.
	
Pros:
	The sensors are good.
	Sensors are available independently.
	Comm protocol is well documented.
	Does a good job of resetting readings at midnight.
	It comes in a *quot;wired" version.

In general, I don't like battery powered things around the house!

I want to build an Arduino based weather station using the Davis sensors.
Sensors:
	Wind Speed
	Wind Direction
	Rainfall
	Temperature
	Humidity
