Trash Bag Storage
One of the storage problems around the house is how to store trash bags in a readily accessable maner.
I found that a set of shelves/racks adjacent to the garage door worked very well.
The shelves are in 2 sizes, a 5.5" and a 7.25" for small and large bags.
The smaller shelves have a 1x6 hase with a 1/2" plywood lip at the front.
The larger shelves are 7.25" wide (could go ahead and use a 1x8 at 7.5") with a 1/2" plywood lip at the front.
Both shelves are 10" wide.
The lips are made from 2.25" x 1/2" plywood 10" long and protrude 1.5" above the shelf.
There are two large and two small shelves one for the box in use and a spare in both cases.
Two 4' metal shelf brackets support each shelf.

You can see the metal support bracket (from Stanley) and the wall board screws holding the lip on the shelf.
