For the last few years I have been doing an ocassional circuit build (current detector, NTP Clock) and the most time consuming part is finding specific resistors.
I have a small parts cabinet that holds my small components (resistors, capacitors, ICs, transistors, diodes>. 
I use 6 drawers for resistors: but there are 161 standard values of 5% resistors the means almost 27 different values in a 2" x 5-1/4" drawer. 
Thats a problem!
I decided to build a roll-around parts cabinet for my office with a larger resistor storage and better storage for transistors, capacitors, diodes, etc.

I am planning to build several 2-3/4" deep drawers at the top, each for small 
components like resistors, capacitors, etc.
Each drawer will have an organizer for it's particular components.
