In previous remodel operations we have seen under cabinet storage improved by adding sliding shelves.
We felt the front bath vanity would be greatly improved by adding sliders similar to the one in the back bath vanity and kitchen sliders.
I especially like the higher sides on the back bath vanity's slider so I am going that way on these.
I'll make a 5-1/2" drawer with slides, then attach the original cabinet door to it.
These sliders will be 10-1/2" wide, 20" deep, and 5-1/2" high with the original doors as fronts.
Construction
An original door from the vanity, the panel was inset into the frame by 3/16" so I glued in a piece of plywood to fill in so the back would be flat to glue the drawer frame to.
I cut biscuit slots in the front edge of each side of the drawer frame.
Note the cut doesn't show on the outside.
Nor on the inside.

Here are the matching slots on the back side of the original door.
You have to take care that the slots will match up.
Glue applied to the back side of the door and especially into the slots.
Next I spread the glue evenly then I put the biscuits (shown at top of pic) into the slots and put glue on top of them.

I cut 1x2 bars for the slides on the cabinet bottom.
I machined these slots across the back and bottom for 1-1/2" angle braces.
The angles hold the slide bars to the cabinet bottom.

Finished

The vanity looks like it did before but with handles.
Handles make the sliders a little easier to open.
BTW you can just see the sliders in the linen closet outside the door on the left, the handles are the same.
