A while ago, Betty and I discovered Mead.   Since then we have sampled lots of different meads, mostly from Texas.
We have enjoyed wine for years and sample it wherever we can.

Main dining room North East at the Vintage House restraunt at Mesina Hof in Bryan Texas.   The Vintage House Restaurant is only open Thursday - Sunday.

Main dining room waiting area.

What I call the vinyard dining room, they have a sign saying "Cafe Armande".   Betty is at our table beside the window.   The Black Spanish Grape vines are heavy with grapes, almost ready to pick.

Looking West in the vinyard dining room.

A little closer look at the setting on one of the tables in the Vinyard Dining room.

One of the chairs we sat in during lunch.   You can see the vines in outside the window.   These are Texas Black Spanish Grapes or Lenoir grapes.

Looking North East in the vinyard room.

Before our food was served, we had pieces of bread with an olive oil dip, it was great!   Betty's Warm Smoked Turkey Club sandwich.   Vintage House has signifigantly widened their menu since we were there since 2015.

My Black Forrest Reuben sandwich. This is why I call it the vinyard dining room, just outside the floor to ceiling windows on the North is a vinyard.   These are Lenoir (Black Spanish) grapes, that have been aclimated to Texas.

Looking back into the main dining room from the vinyard dining room.   There was no illumination in the main dining room, the vinyard room is illuminated by natural light during the day.

Part of the vinyard behind the Vintage House Restaurant.

The inn is on the left, the tasting room in the center and the Vintage House Restaurant on the right.

Part of the vinyard behind the restaurant.

Dancing Bee and Walker Honey Farm at Rogers Texas
The entrance to the Dancing Bee, and Walker Honey Farm, behind is the actual wine making facility.   Betty and I noticed that the wine making facility has grown over the year we have been coming here.

Wider shot showing the wine making facility.   They make mostly mead and sell honey and honey products.   Betty and I are amazed at the variety of honey based products they carry, have you ever tasted lemon honey spread, honey roasted cashews, honey hased olive oils, and, of course, just honey.   This is where we get honey for our home made mead.

The store at Dancing Bee / Walker Honey Farm.   In addition to mead, and all the other honey and honey based products you can imagine, there is a working bee hive inside.   Next time we go, I'll get some pics inside.

They have what appears to be a young vinyard here too.
