32x8 Matrix RTC
An interesting part of the Nuclear Clock project is the pin orientation of the LED Matrix display and the RTC.

Both had 90%deg; pins and on the wrong side of the board.

The LED Matrix pins turned 90° and off the end of the board.   I needed them to be straight off the back side of the board.   So I whipped out my handy Antec iron and got busy.
32x8 Led Matrix Pin Re-Orientation

Connector pins on the 32x8 LED Matrix.   I call this the bottom of the board, the actual Martix devices are on the opposite side.   Note they bend 90° off the end of the board.
In order to mount the display, I needed them to stick straight out the bottom of the board.
Top side of the Matrix board with the pins removed.

A new 5 pin, straight in-line header.

New in-line header tacked in.

A little different perspective.

Three of the 32x8 LED Martices with their pins re-oriented.   Note the colored dots, helps me keep track of which is which.
