This Reddy Killowatt tie clasp was given to Betty by Wesley Fry who worked for Texas Power & LIght.   Reddy was the spokesman for TP&L from 1930 - 1945, but apparetly they played his commercials a little later, because I remember them.  

Reddy's little song was:

When you roast a roast 
or you toast some toast
It is I who makes them hot.
Because I'm always there 
with lots of power to spare 
cause I'm Readdy Killowatt.

His paint is suffering but you can still make out his face and lightbulb nose.

Unlike some folks he does have paint and a face on both sides.
